Olive ash bowl
Olive ash doesn’t get much better than this! This bowl is made from a small batch of ash I got from a local source - a tree that had to come down in a garden in Glossop, Derbyshire. The quality of this wood is second to none and the grain patterns are beautiful - contrasting olive grain with some beautiful figuring. A narrow, slightly inward sloping rim and undercut profile give this bowl a modern style.
Finished with a flat, smooth base.
See also this bowl, made from the same batch of wood and in a similar style.
Handmade in England by Percy.
15cm wide, 7.5cm high.
Note: This is a decorative item for ornamental display or practical use only (you could keep your keys in it, for example). Not designed to hold liquids or for food use.
